Baghdad – In order to work together on capability development and academic and professional training programs for clinical staff and healthcare professionals in Iraq, Aster DM Healthcare and Faruk Medical City, the country’s top supplier of healthcare services, inked a contract. Faruk Medical City is a subsidiary of Faruk Investment Group, one of Iraq’s major investment firms.
Through this collaboration, medical professionals from Aster DM Healthcare will go to Faruk Medical City’s cutting-edge facilities to consult with patients and perform surgeries that are not offered locally and need them to fly abroad.
By providing advanced academic training and competence development, together with its benchmarked worldwide standards in providing top-notch clinical and medical services in Iraq, the move intends to jointly create Faruk Medical City as a hospital of excellence. Aster will also provide advice when Faruk Medical City applies for international accreditation.
Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding between Faruk Investment Group and Aster DM Healthcare has been inked to investigate future partnership chances to increase Aster Pharmacy’s services in Iraq.
